Hi ,
I have just purchased a Fluid detox boat in Australia ( Thanks james et al. @ wetspot canberra).

I am trying to work out how add shims to the hip pads & also how to move the seat forward . It just seems very stiff when I have removed the 2 screws in front and rear of teh seat and i dont want to stress or break abything , so am reluctant to use a ;lot of force??

Any help would be much appreciated

I have already had the boat out , & even without really fitting it to me, I am really happy with its performance . Just need time from woirk to use it now

As mentioned any help/advice would be much appreciated

kind regards
Sam

Ola.
Ja the phone works well and it held up to the majority of the stuff we ran. The phone did however take in some water. If you keep the phone away from direct water pressure it will work hundreds. I must have chucked the phone into the water at least 100 times over the 2 day shoot.
For those on FB check out a video clip by Andrew Kellet called Doug Bird Stuntkayaker, he shot this on the day before the shoot when we took Doug to the biggest rapid that we would run. After this Doug was not that interested any more. In his last session in the hole he snapped his seven2 paddle and whacked the hell out of his helmet.

ackson that have associates paddling and even competing with C-1's converted usually with the old Dagger outfitting but non, AFAIK, offer the outfitting or even a special order C-1 version of any of their models. My poor old Dagger saddle is really starting to look a bit shabby in my latest new converted kayak. I would buy a solo in a minute if there were a C-1 version.

I started boating 8 years ago and hand paddling 3 years ago. It is really hard for me to go back to a paddle and for many of the reasons you give. Hand paddling is so much easier. I started out just using them for park and play and now I run some creeks with them. They are fantastic when running big water and I've been able to punch through some descent sized holes if I know the line and carry some speed. I feel so much more balanced and not as "tipsy" as I do with a paddle. People ask me all the time why I do it and they
