Fluid Element high speed surfing on Hawaii sur Rhone

Last June, Hawaii sur Rhone locals were blessed with high waterlevels, glorious shunshine and some of the best sessions of the season.
The Rhone river even reached 1050 to 1100 m3/sec, which is the lower level to surf the left channel. At this level the wave is hardly surfable with a freestyle boat. The water is super fast and hard, and the foampile is very small. Better have a fast boat! This session was a total blast in the Element. Its forgiveness allowed me to have longer rides, which was quite unexpected due to the nature of the wave at that level. Now the wave is back to a normal level, but I hope I'll be able to surf the left channel again next autumn, at even higher flows when the wave is totally clean and glassy, and also much wider.
