Marc Girardin joins Team Fluid

Hi all,
I am pleased to announce that multiple C1 Freestyle Worlds medailist Marc Girardin is joining Team Fluid.
Based out in Bordeaux, France, Marc is certainly one of the very best freestyle C1 paddler on the planet. He took the silver medal in both Penrith, Australia, in 2005 and on the infamous Bus Eater wave, in Canada, in 2007. Besides freestyle, Marc is also an avid creekboater (sitting on his butt this time, kayaking) and can frequently be seen in his Pyrenean backyard. Living near the Atlantic coast, Marc is an accomplished surfer as well, and he was just waiting for a boat of the caliber of the Fluid Element to get to the waves with a paddle in hand. Here are a few pics of Marc taken during our lastest trip to Kenya:
Besides paddling, Marc has developed a few other surprising interests, such as a passion for warthogs. This came public during a recent safari in Kenya. It was by far his favorite animal. He paid little attention to hippos, lions, elephants, zebras... but went crazy everytime there was a warthog in sight. Unfortunately Marc was already on the team by the time I discovered this weird attraction. A warthog, come on, you must be kidding me!
Marc also proved to be a master in self-portrait - in the Picasso category I should add. In fact he is not THAT scary in real life...
...unless you consider his unusual food habits:
All in all I'm very happy to have Marc onboard, he's a great adidtion to the team, and just watching him paddle in style is enough to forgive the warthog attraction.
